PolyShield Roof
White roof waterproofing
Waterproofing and high sun reflectance combine in one white final layer.
PolyShield performs this
White waterproofing and Cool Roof renovation
Combine waterproofing with a light, sun-reflecting roof surface that can limit the heat load.
- 01Inspect roof structure, moisture and details
- 02Cleaning and repairing weak areas
- 03Apply primer and detail reinforcement
- 04Waterproof membrane delivered in a controlled manner
From damage picture to solution
Problem, cause and effect first visible.
- UV and weather loads
- Movement of seams and connections
- Overdue maintenance or previous emergency repairs
In addition to leakage risk, a high roof temperature can contribute to comfort problems and cooling load; the actual effect remains building-specific.
Substrate inspection, primer, detail reinforcement and a white UV-resistant membrane layer as a complete structure.
Business benefits
The value is not just in the new layer.
Lifespan
Maintain a technically suitable roof structure and postpone replacement.
Continuity
Organize renovation per work area around the use of the building.
Risk management
Include critical details before consequential damage occurs.
Maintenance
Create an inspectable and locally recoverable system route.
Waiting can increase waterproofing defects and leaves a logical combined maintenance and reflection moment unused.
First have the size, cause, accessibility and desired planning assessed. We then compare repair, renovation and, where necessary, replacement without selling a standard solution in advance.

Business applications with a clear technical question.
- Business premises with heat load
- Roofs with a lot of sunlight
- Projects with maintenance strategy
System approach
Assess roof structure and moisture condition
Repair details, seams and defects
Apply primer and targeted reinforcement
White, UV-resistant membrane in a controlled manner
Application boundaries
Assess first.
Only then specify.
- Clean wet insulation first
- First repair loose roofing
- Assess puddle formation and slope on a project-specific basis
Control profile
The division is broader than the application.
PolyShield assesses preparation, implementation and delivery as one coherent technical scope.
- 01Roof structure and moisture
- 02Details and drainage
- 03Adhesion and weather window
Can be processed quickly where responsible
Less downtime starts with the right system choice.
Where technically appropriate, PolyShield works with fast-reacting primers, two-component membranes and fast protective layers. The benefit lies not only in curing, but in a work plan in which preparation, recoating times and recommissioning are aligned in advance.
- 01
Fast-reacting 2K membranes where the surface and conditions permit
- 02
Fast drying primers to reduce waiting time between preparation and membrane
- 03
Phased implementation per roof zone so that the building remains usable
Technical roof coating
A Cool Roof starts with waterproofing, not just the color.
A white roof surface can reflect a lot of solar radiation and therefore remain cooler under sun exposure than a dark roof. The effect in the building also depends on insulation, ventilation, internal heat load, pollution and use.
PolyShield therefore combines the white final layer with surface control, a suitable primer, detail reinforcement and a continuous UV-resistant membrane. Reflection values are only linked to the demonstrably tested variant.
Business scenarios
Where this route can add value.
Heat load
Industrial halls, schools and logistics buildings with a lot of sunlight and an existing dark roof.
Planned maintenance
Roofs where waterproofing and reflection are combined within one renovation moment.
Technical installations
Roofs where accessibility, maintenance routes and detailing around installations are important.
Real estate portfolio
Objects that need to be comparable across the same checkpoints and documentation.
Renovate or intervene first?
Three outcomes after the first roof assessment.
Liquid renovation
The roof structure is stable, sufficiently dry and the details can be technically repaired. Trial adhesion and system selection can follow.
Restore locally first
Bad areas, seams, drains or details are replaced or repaired before a coherent membrane layer is applied.
Further investigation or replacement
Wet insulation, large-scale detachment, structural damage or irreparable details make direct coating irresponsible.
Proof before promise
What should be visible in a commercial roof quotation.
- 01Existing roof structure and assessed zones
- 02Preparation, repairs and primer route
- 03Detailed approach for edges, drains and penetrations
- 04Membrane variant, consumption and layer structure
- 05Working window, weather limits and phasing
- 06Photo, material and delivery registration
