PolyShield remains primarily focused on business and larger technical projects. Private roof coating is one defined exception if the surface area is at least approximately 50 m² and the existing roof appears to be technically suitable.
This prevents a price competition for a separate product. You will receive an assessment of the entire route: existing roof layer, moisture, adhesion, slope, details, primer, membrane, implementation conditions and future maintenance.

Benefits and limits
Renovate without unnecessary demolition, if the existing roof can be retained.
A stable existing roof layer may be retained, delaying removal and replacement.
Liquid processing helps treat the roof surface, curbs, penetrations and drains in one coherent route.
Fast-track materials and proper preparation can narrow the execution window.
A light surface can limit sun absorption; the building-specific comfort or energy effect must be assessed separately.
Do not coat if the existing structure is unstable, insulation is demonstrably wet, adhesion appears to be insufficient or repair is not economically justified. In those situations we do not recommend any coating in order to carry out the assignment.

Why is there a minimum of 50 m²?+
Our preparation, system construction, quality control and mobilization are designed for complete renovation projects. This approach can usually be organized efficiently from approximately 50 m².
Can coating be applied over existing bitumen?+
Sometimes yes, but only when the roof layer is stable, sufficiently dry, compatible and well prepared. Blisters, wet insulation or loose layers may require repair or replacement first.
Is 2K polyurea always better than silicone?+
No. The right choice depends on the surface, water load, details, walkability, maintenance and supporting documents. We mainly explain why a complete system structure suits your roof.
Can a white roof make the house cooler?+
A reflective white surface can limit sun absorption and roof temperature. The effect indoors depends on insulation, ventilation, building shape, use and weather conditions; that is why we do not promise a fixed number of degrees or percentage of energy savings.
Will I receive a fixed price immediately after the roof measurement?+
The measurement provides an indicative surface. A reliable quotation also requires information about the surface, details, accessibility, moisture, repair and the chosen system.
