Technical process
From subsurface to demonstrable quality.
A lasting result starts before the first coating layer. PolyShield works with a fixed process in which assessment, preparation, application and registration are connected.

Technical process
A lasting result starts before the first coating layer. PolyShield works with a fixed process in which assessment, preparation, application and registration are connected.
Seven project phases
Purpose, use, planning, accessibility and known damage are recorded in advance.
Substrate, moisture, adhesion, details, slope, puddle formation and existing layers are assessed.
We determine which work PolyShield carries out itself and where a selected specialist partner is needed. Responsibilities are identified in advance.
Cleaning, repair and preparation are tailored to the construction and chosen system structure.
Primer, detail treatment and membrane are applied within defined application conditions.
Consumption, batch numbers, temperature, humidity and project photos are registered.
The client receives a project summary, maintenance advice and later the digital coating passport.
Stop criteria
Fast-track work plan
A short lead time is achieved by connecting subsurface research, preparation, work processes and recoating times in advance. We determine which zones must remain available and when a treated zone can be walked on or loadable again.
Fast-reacting primers, 2K membranes and polyaspartic finishes are only used within their demonstrable application window. This means that speed remains predictable and controllable.
When a partner company is part of the project, it is determined before the order is placed which scope it will carry out, who will take care of the work preparation and checks and how deviations will be reported. PolyShield remains the technical coordination point within the agreed assignment.
