Slijtvaste naadloze vloer in een lichte publieke onderwijsruimte

PolyShield Floor / EDU

Wear-resistant floors for schools and public buildings

A maintainable school floor, planned around holidays and intensive daily use.

School floors and public buildings experience peak loads, sand, wet shoes, furniture and tight holiday windows. The correct route differs between entrance, corridor, room and technical room. We therefore select per zone and test cleaning, grip and planning in advance.

Problem · cause · solution

Not every square meter
is taxed the same.

That is why the choice of flooring starts with the business process. We link load, surface, finish and available downtime to an executable system route.

  1. 01Intensive foot traffic and garbage collection
  2. 02Chairs, tables and rolling stock
  3. 03Short holiday and weekend windows
  4. 04Different requirements per entrance, corridor and room
  5. 05Maintenance should be simple and predictable

First system direction

Recommended PolyShield systems.

This is a technical preselection. The floor scan and project specification determine the final layer structure.

PRIMARY 01

PS Rapid Flake

Fast-track performance with a presentable, forgiving floor image.

A fast colored base, selected flake mix and transparent protection for business areas where appearance and daily use come together.

Finishing and use

A floor image with a technical reason.

01

Flakes for a forgiving floor image

02

Quartz for entrances and intensive routes

03

Uni-color for quiet rooms or ancillary areas

04

Granite for representative public entrances

Business added value

What this route brings to your organization.

01

Holiday-oriented planning

Recording, preparation and release are designed around the available teaching window.

02

Finishing per zone

Entrance, corridor, room and technical room do not have to have the same texture.

03

Maintenance as a selection criterion

Cleaning method and desired appearance are determined before system selection.

Selection conditions

This must be clear before the quotation.

  • Confirm cleaning agents and maintenance frequency
  • Design grip and dirt entry per entrance zone
  • Document emission and use requirements project-specifically
  • Plan implementation and ventilation outside of operating hours

From question to floor plan

Three steps to a reliable scope.

01

Usage and maintenance profile

Student routes, peak times, furniture and cleaning are recorded per zone.

02

System and color plan

Finish, grip, zones and test panels are coordinated with management.

03

Holiday version

Work areas, ventilation and release are recorded in a verifiable plan.

Frequently asked questions

Technical answers before system choice.

Which floor is suitable for a school?+

Rapid Flake is often attractive because of its forgiving image. Entrances and difficult routes may require a quartz system; classrooms can be equipped with a quieter uni route.

Can a school floor be renovated during a holiday?+

Yes, provided that the surface area, subsurface repair, climate and layer structure fit within the available window. This is calculated in advance.

Is the floor immediately suitable for healthcare or laboratories?+

Not automatically. Such areas require additional validation of hygiene, emissions, chemicals and details. That route is assessed separately.
