Professional seamless garage floor in a business automotive environment

PolyShield Floor / AUT

Industrial floors for garages and automotive

From workshop to showroom: one floor plan, tailored to each user zone.

An automotive floor has to deal with tires, oil, tools, lifts, cleaning and representation. PolyShield therefore divides the space into functional zones and chooses the correct layer structure, texture and finish for each zone.

Problem · cause · solution

Not every square meter
is taxed the same.

That is why the choice of flooring starts with the business process. We link load, surface, finish and available downtime to an executable system route.

  1. 01Tire tracks and plasticizer load
  2. 02Oil, brake fluid and cleaning agents
  3. 03Point loads around lift bridges
  4. 04Slipperiness in wet entrance and washing areas
  5. 05Long closure costs turnover and capacity

First system direction

Recommended PolyShield systems.

This is a technical preselection. The floor scan and project specification determine the final layer structure.

PRIMARY 01

PS Rapid Quartz

Fast availability, high wear resistance and grip per zone of use.

A polyaspartic system completely infused with colored quartz for industrial zones where traffic, moisture and controlled texture are decisive.

PRIMARY 02

PS Rapid Flake

Fast-track performance with a presentable, forgiving floor image.

A fast colored base, selected flake mix and transparent protection for business areas where appearance and daily use come together.

Business added value

What this route brings to your organization.

01

Less downtime

Fast-track system routes are phased around opening hours and workshop occupancy.

02

Zone-oriented design

Workshop, washing area, reception and showroom do not automatically receive the same finish.

03

Professional appearance

Color, lines and finishes support the routing and brand experience of the car company.

Selection conditions

This must be clear before the quotation.

  • Determine chemical load and cleaning protocol in advance
  • Choose grip per wet, dry and public zone
  • Assess cracks, saw cuts and floor transitions separately
  • Adjust clearance to pedestrians, vehicles and lift bridges

From question to floor plan

Three steps to a reliable scope.

01

Automotive floor scan

Subsurface, contamination, load and available closure are recorded.

02

Zoning and test area

Grip, color and cleanability are confirmed per zone of use.

03

Phased realization

The implementation follows a work plan with project-specific release moments.

Frequently asked questions

Technical answers before system choice.

Which floor is suitable for a garage?+

Usually a fully broadcast quartz system is the robust main route. Flakes or plain may be better suited to drier service and presentation areas.

Can a garage remain open during the work?+

The floor can often be designed in work areas. Accessibility, ventilation and safe routing are recorded in advance in the phase plan.

Is every coating resistant to car tires?+

No. Tire contact, heat and plasticizers require a selected complete system structure and a technically confirmed release.
