PolyShield Large Surface Coating

Large surfaces. One controlled coating system.

For commercial roofs, metal roofs, cladding, halls, steel and concrete where scale, minimal disruption and demonstrable execution come together.

MORE THAN SPRAY CAPACITY

The method follows from the project.

PolyShield first assesses the existing layer, adhesion, corrosion, moisture, details and accessibility. We then compare airless, rollers and a hybrid combination for feasibility and quality.

This means that no separate spraying work is created, but a complete project plan with preparation, detail repair, primer, main layer, edge finishing and control.

AREAS OF APPLICATION

Designed for business scale.

01

Large commercial roofs

Planned renovation of technically suitable roof surfaces, with details and edges treated separately.

02

Metal roofs and facades

Efficient coverage of profiled plates, seams and large lengths; corrosion preparation remains decisive.

03

Industrial halls

Treat walls, ceilings and large interior surfaces within a ventilation, shielding and business plan.

04

Concrete and parking decks

Apply primers and protective layers when product documentation, substrate and project environment allow this.

05

Steel structures

Preserve large accessible steel surfaces after a project-specific preparation.

06

Hybrid work zones

Combine main face spraying with rolling and manual detailing around vulnerable areas.

07

Anti-condensation

Treat large ceilings and walls functionally when cyclic condensation, ventilation and subsurface demonstrably suit the system.

08

Concrete and facade protection

Spray vapour-open anti-carbonation and water-resistant protection after investigation and necessary concrete repair.

UNBRANDED MATERIAL ROUTES

Not every sprayable coating works the same.

The function determines the technology: waterproofing, controlling corrosion, buffering condensation, protecting concrete or making a surface cleanable. PolyShield only links this question to a demonstrably suitable product and primer family after inspection.

ONE TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT

Outsource preparation without losing control.

PolyShield does not claim to carry out every discipline itself. Specialist blasting, extensive mechanical preparation, aerial platform access or additional conservation work can be carried out by selected partner companies.

The client maintains one coherent route: requirements for the substrate, transfer moments, test surfaces, application conditions and quality control are recorded in advance.

  1. 01Inspection and system selection
  2. 02Environmental and fog plan
  3. 03Pre-treatment by PolyShield or partner
  4. 04Details, primer and repairs
  5. 05Airless or hybrid main application
  6. 06Control, residual points and reporting

CONTROLLING SPRAY MIST

No speed at the expense of the environment.

Wind direction and wind speedCars, neighbors and public routesPV panels and technical installationsAir intakes and openingsShielding and work area boundariesProduction, ventilation and working hours

If these factors are insufficiently controllable, we recommend a different working method or phasing. That is part of a professional selection, not a limitation that is concealed.

PolyShield performs this

Large-scale coating application

Efficiently treat large business areas within one controlled preparation and application plan.

  1. 01Record the surface, size and environment
  2. 02Organize pre-treatment and shielding
  3. 03Perform details, primer and main application
  4. 04Register coverage, consumption and remaining points

From damage picture to solution

Problem, cause and effect first visible.

01 / PROBLEM

Large areas are labor intensive and cause long delays if method and logistics are not planned together.

02 / POSSIBLE CAUSES
  • Many square meters or profile
  • Scattered damage and details
  • Limited renovation window or business continuity
03 / CONSEQUENCES OF DELAY

An incorrect implementation method leads to unnecessary downtime, fog risk or insufficient coverage.

04 / POLYSHIELD ROUTE

Select airless, roles or hybrid per work area and centrally manage preparation, partners and control.

The cause is determined project-specifically. This structure is a decision route and not a remote diagnosis.

Business benefits

The value is not just in the new layer.

01

Economies of scale

Limit work on suitably large main surfaces.

02

Planning

Connect material, work areas and recoating times in advance.

03

Continuity

Design phasing around production and building use.

04

One direction

Organize partner work and coating application within one technical plan.

RISK OF DELAY

Delay can allow damage to spread and make it more difficult to carry out maintenance within a short and manageable renovation window.

First have the size, cause, accessibility and desired planning assessed. We then compare repair, renovation and, where necessary, replacement without selling a standard solution in advance.

Have project assessed

Application method in three choices

When does airless spraying deliver measurable scale benefits?

Not every large surface should be sprayed. This selection links surface, objective and surroundings to an application route and the controls required beforehand.

Large Surface Spray Scan

Is airless suitable for your project?

An initial pre-selection based on surface, geometry, environment and business continuity. The outcome is not application advice; inspection, test area and technical system documentation remain decisive.

TO ASK

Business preconditions are clear in advance.

Is airless always faster?+

No. Masking, wind, logistics, pre-treatment and detail work determine the total lead time. For large, manageable surfaces, airless can provide an important economy of scale.

Does PolyShield carry out the blasting itself?+

Usually not. Blasting and specialist surface preparation are carried out by selected partner companies where necessary. PolyShield determines the required initial situation and responsibilities in advance.

Can you always spray above 1,000 m²?+

No. The size makes the method interesting, but spray mist, wind, traffic, solar panels, air inlets and surrounding objects can lead to shielding, phasing or a hybrid version.

Which coatings are sprayed?+

Only coatings and primers for which the current technical documentation supports the chosen equipment, layer thickness, nozzle, dilution and conditions. The product family will only be confirmed after technical selection.

Does PolyShield also work while the business remains open?+

Work can often be done in phases. Production, ventilation, internal routes and safety are translated in advance into work zones and stopping moments.
