When is this route promising?
Cold-applied 2K polyurea is especially promising for an existing commercial roof if roofing membranes and insulation are sufficiently stable and dry, details remain repairable and adhesion can be demonstrated with a project-specific primer.

Can this system be used directly over existing bitumen?+
Not without assessment. Cleanability, stability, moisture, chipping, blistering, repairs and test adhesion determine the preparation and primer route.
Does the entire roof need to be fully reinforced?+
Not always. Local detail reinforcement and full reinforcement are different routes. The current system documentation and expected movement determine the choice.
Is an expected useful life automatically a guarantee?+
No. A technical service life category belongs to a described system scope and is not an unconditional project guarantee.
