Project and initial situation
Record client, location, work zones, treated surface and implementation period. Add the original substrate, existing layers and most important damage images.
Photos preferably have a recognizable location and date. This makes it clear later which detail was assessed before recovery.
Preparation and repairs
Describe cleaning, sanding, milling, blasting or other preparation in concrete terms. Also note crack repairs, detail reinforcement, replaced parts and deviations from the original scope.
When test adhesion, moisture measurement or other checks have been carried out, the method, location and result are included in the project file.
- Pretreatment method
- Repair zones and details
- Moisture and adhesion measurements
- Approved deviations
- Before and after recovery photos
Application data
Register system layers, batch numbers, color, material consumption and relevant layer thicknesses. The information must be sufficient to check the construction carried out.
Temperature, relative humidity, substrate temperature and dew point margin are important when they influence the application. Also note recoating times.
Delivery and remaining points
A delivery contains the visual inspection, relevant measurements and a list of any remaining items. Remaining points are given an owner, deadline and confirmation after recovery.
Warranty conditions are precisely linked to the scope carried out and the agreed maintenance. General marketing claims are no substitute for this.
Maintenance and digital passport
Describe inspection frequency, cleaning, accessibility and situations that require interim inspection. Consider new installations, damage by third parties and changed loads.
A digital coating passport can keep this data together. Access, privacy and change management must be properly arranged before deployment.
This explanation is general and does not constitute project-specific system advice. Subsurface investigation, tax and official system documentation remain decisive.
