PolyShield Climate Intelligence

Condensation first requires a correct diagnosis.

Bring moisture pattern, subsurface, ventilation and building use together. The Condensation Scan provides a transparent first route for business halls, storage, production and parking facilities.

THREE CAUSE ROUTES

What looks like condensation could be something else.

01

Cyclic condensation

Moisture occurs around dew point times and can dry out again between cycles.

02

Leakage

Rainwater, pipes or connections cause a local or recurring moisture load.

03

Climate and building physics

Ventilation, cold bridges, insulation and production moisture require a broader measure.

Condensatie Scan

Condens, lekkage of klimaatprobleem?

Deze voorselectie helpt de oorzaakroute bepalen. Het is geen diagnose: metingen, inspectie en een representatief proefvlak blijven noodzakelijk.

TECHNICAL FOLLOW-UP ROUTE

From observation to demonstrable selection.

The scan organizes the initial information. A real system proposal is only created after the cause, substrate and conditions have been determined.

  1. 01Assess intake and scan results
  2. 02Measure temperature, RH and dew point
  3. 03Exclude leaks and permanent sources of moisture
  4. 04Check the substrate and existing layers
  5. 05Carry out a representative test area
  6. 06Determine work plan, layer structure and maintenance

Condensation buffering. No hidden moisture problem.

Permanently wet surfaces, active leakage and insufficient ventilation are not 'solved' with a coating. PolyShield makes that boundary visible in advance and can outsource specialist research or preparatory work to a partner under technical direction.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The technical boundaries are clear in advance.

Is an anti-condensation coating always the solution?+

No. First, leakage, permanent moisture, ventilation, surface temperature and building use must be investigated. The coating can only fulfill a buffering function in an appropriate cyclic condensation situation.

Does the coating replace insulation or ventilation?+

No. Insulation, ventilation and process control remain separate building physics measures. The system choice follows from measurements and a location recording.

Can the coating be sprayed?+

Airless can be interesting for large, accessible surfaces, if the current product documentation, shielding and building environment support this.

What happens after the scan?+

PolyShield assesses the outcome, discusses the use of the building and determines whether climate measurement, leakage research or a technical test area is the right next step.
